HAE:ON — Privacy Policy

HAE:ON ("the App") is operated by Entanglecare ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data. The App uses anonymous authentication by default. If you sign up with an email address, we store that email to operate your account.
• Chat and gameplay content. Messages you send to the App's virtual characters, story choices, and gameplay state (bond levels, items, collections) are stored on our servers to provide continuity of the experience.
• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to collect app usage events (screens viewed, features used, session length) and device information (device model, OS version, app version) to improve the App.
• Push notification identifiers. We use OneSignal to deliver push notifications. OneSignal processes a push token and device identifiers for this purpose.
• Purchase data. If you make in-app purchases, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive purchase receipts to grant items; we do not receive or store your payment card details.

2. AI Processing

Character conversations are generated by third-party large language model providers (Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude). The text of your messages is transmitted to these providers to generate responses. We do not send your email address or account identifiers to these providers alongside your messages.

3. How We Use Data

• To operate the App and persist your progress
• To generate character responses via AI providers
• To send optional push notifications (you can disable them in system settings)
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the App
• To detect abuse and enforce our terms

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the processors named above (Supabase for hosting, Google Gemini and Anthropic for AI responses, PostHog for analytics, OneSignal for notifications, Google Play for purchases), each strictly to provide their function.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Chat and gameplay data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at entanglecare@gmail.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access controls (row-level security). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry practices.

8. International Transfers

Our servers are hosted in South Korea (Supabase, Seoul region). AI, analytics, and notification providers may process data in other countries, including the United States.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
